New England Lacrosse Academy

The Academy was established to provide players in the New England region the opportunity to develop, improve, and evolve their lacrosse ability. The Academy is comprised of coaches from mixed experience backgrounds. 

What makes us unique? Simple. Our coaching staff.

All of the coaches have played competitive collegiate lacrosse, with some having professional experience. Each coach in the academy is currently involved in coaching whether it be at the collegiate, high school, or competitive youth level. Our coaches have vast knowledge about the game of lacrosse, while also specializing in specific positions. Besides being highly knowledgeable and decorated, our coaches are extremely passionate. Each one recognizes how important lacrosse was in developing them into the person they are today, and wish to share that experience with youth and high school players. 

Wednesday Skills Sessions Middle School and High School

NELA partners with some of the top lacrosse coaches in the area to bring the highest level of coaching and instruction to our athletes. All sessions are designed by skilled coaches that implement a cutting edge approach to the game that helps players bridge the gap between practice to the field.

Wednesday Youth Skill Sessions Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Sessions are specifically designed to grow each player's individual skills and knowledge. Players will participate in position-based drills that aim to groom their offense or defense-specific skills, as well as, team-like drills that will develop skills used in general game settings (such as groundballs, fastbreaks, riding, clearing, etc.) To ensure each player is challenged and engaged, they are grouped by age, position, and skill. Players' groupings are often switched up based on ability and growth, and beginners are welcome!

Youth, Middle School and High School Games

NELA hosts a youth Friday night game league for grades 3-8 and a Sunday afternoon High School game league. Players can join with their town team, or play for a NELA team. The NELA teams are built on a first come, first serve basis.
